We don't want to change the world....we only want Park to score a goal for his team! This year Park has done his part in adding to our weekly schedule overload by playing in the city of Bentonville's 4 year old soccer league. His team is called the Revolution, and he has the magnificent honor of having his dad as his coach.

There are 8 kids on the team, and they play 3 on 3 with no goalie. Although Park is no speed demon, he does dribble the ball pretty well and usually manages to score at least one goal at each game. When Brian asked him what he enjoyed most about playing soccer he said, "I really like scoring goals and getting snacks and a Powerade." Perspective people!

Park is definitely one of the funniest children that we have. He LOVES having his picture taken. In fact, I had to put away the camera, because he was stopping in front of me IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME to smile and say "CHEESE!" What a crazy kid!

The Dad and Son duo will be at it again in the Spring. We are just hoping that schedules match up a little better. This season, I have had to miss most of Park's games because of all the possible game combos in the entire universe, Park's soccer games and Banks' football games managed to overlap. Of course, this has meant that Brian has had to miss most of Banks' games since he coaches Park. It has been hard, because we both really want to support our children in all they do, and, of course, we prefer to do it together.
Oh well....... as in all things, our life tends to mimic one of those good ole' country and western songs:
"{We} love this crazy, tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful, beautiful life!"
